This is a brand new product that was previously not available before (Spring 09). We worked very close with Dobinson to finally make a P-Type Standard Height Spring. After a prototype was made was flew it to North America where it was tested bywww.celicasupra.commember Dangerous Ken. Click the pictures to see, if you look carefully at the pictures you will notice on 3 of them a Dobinson Sticker just in front of the rear fender flare, the picture with this sticker shows the vehicle with Standard Height Dobinson Springs. The other pictures show the car with factory springs, the car in question is 90,000mile MK2 with original factory springs. This new springs ensures you wont have that 80s Z28 look w hile still maintaining very close to factory camber.
We all know what happens when you lower your MK2 too far: extreme negative camber. Unless you're willing to weld in a rear camber adjusting kit installing rear lowering springs will give you more negative camber than your tires can handle. Dobinson Standard height springs are the perfect solution for a performance spring that will keep your rear Camber in check; your tires will thank you. Much like the MK2 Dobinson Lowering Springs these are 232lb springs and ideally mated to stock to lightly modified MK2's.
